The woman I spoke to said they are getting rid of the enrolled options plan. For those using TA you still can under the MDCP plan which is the same as the per credit plan. I was hoping to use it after I changed to enrolled options which they said I couldn't which makes no sense because the credit hour rate is cheaper than 250 a credit hour.

I believe it is about money when it comes to TA. As for the Enrolled Options thing, I hope not. I have friends who are looking to enroll under that plan, but they can't enroll until May (their saving up).

It explains that on the website. It sounds like they're afraid that too many people won't follow through and take enough credits to make it pay:
Quote:Thomas Edison State University: Tuition & Fees
The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) requires students using VA educational (GI Bill) benefits to be placed into a per-credit tuition plan. The VA requires this because other traditional tuition plans that require students to pay a larger amount up front and take classes throughout a 12-month enrollment period can be problematic and costly for the student and the VA. This is especially true if a student only takes a few credits throughout the enrollment period. Placing VA students into a per-credit tuition plans helps alleviate this issue.
If allowed it would also have the possible effect of subsidizing TECEPs or PLA credits that aren't supposed to be?
