New TESU degree plan

Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on a BSBA in Computer Information Systems from TESU. They recently changed the degree plan and included a bunch of fancy new words that I have no clue what they mean! Has anyone else run into this problem? For example, one is: Information Literacy, worth 3 credits under General Ed Requirements. What?? What is Information Literacy? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

They changed it on July 1. They change the catalog every July 1, so if you haven't enrolled by then, be prepared for it

Here are the Gen Ed requirements: Thomas Edison State University | General Education - 2016 or After

For the BSBA CIS:
Info Lit - Analyzing & Interpreting Literature CLEP or Intro to World Religions DSST/SL/Study.com/Sophia.org OR Technical Writing DSST/TECEP (double check on this)
Oral Comm - Public Speaking DSST/TCC, or Intro to Communications SL (double check on this)
Quant Lit - Any math course

Diversity - there's a whole list
Ethical Leadership - there's a list, basically anything with Ethics in the title
Civic Engagement - American Gov't CLEP/SL, Intro to Comparative Politics TECEP/Saylor
