Be extremely careful as you take the placement exam, because you will get your credits with no further work if you get 70% on the placement test.
Search the forum for more info, there must be hundreds of threads here about ALEKS.
Thank you! The only bad thing, is that I'm horrible with math! I most likely couldn't pass the placement at 70% and I'd be afraid I wouldn't finish by the end of the month. I called Aleks earlier and asked about their ace accreditation ending this month and they had no idea what I was talking about. I also searched their website and didn't find anything saying it would end this month. Can you point me towards where I can find out more about that?

Still determining COSC or TESU based on what classes I've taken so far will transfer better

Oh my gosh, so helpful, thanks so much!!
I just completed the Institutes Ethics course just now with an 80%. As for the College Algebra and Statistics, I saw you did not recommend ALEKS for those. I got an earlier recommendation to try and get those completed thru ALEKS by the end of this month. Any reason you did not recommend ALEKS for those math courses? I am trying to go the cheapest, then fastest route, so if not ALEKS, Saylor? I saw a lot of Saylor courses on my spreadsheet for the BSBA HR route. Can I really do all those free Saylor courses for transfer??
Dfrecore probably recommended other courses besides ALEKS due to the time constraints. In other threads she has recommended trying to get ALEKS done if you can. $20 for up to 12 hours at TESU is hard to beat.
The Saylor courses are $25 each for the ProctorU fee. You really can do all of them that cheaply for transfer.

2 Algebra classes before the end of the month is possible, but one would be hard pressed to also do Statistics - still well worth $20 for 6 credits
The point is that you could at least do Intermediate and College Algebra along with Precal, then at least try to do the Stats course. For $20/ month, it's hard to beat.

I changed the generic spreadsheets from ALEKS when it was going to expire.
You obviously should start on ALEKS immediately and do Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra if you can, and then Stats if you can. You should get through as much as possible before the 1/31 expiration date. Even getting through 1 course will be worth it.

Also, for every course on there, every option that's around $100 or less is listed on there. There are a few where there's only 1 option - like Saylor's Business Stats - because they're the only one that offers that course at all (or at least, TESU counts that course separately from the other stats courses). But, in looking at the spreadsheets I made you, there is nothing that says you have to take College Algebra at Saylor - it's just one of many options (including ALEKS which isn't listed).

Thank you again @dfrecore! I signed up for ALEKS last night and bombed the assessment for college algebra. Ugh. But it was no surprise, math is my weakest point. I did take Math for General Education at my local CC, Math 127. Does that not count? I was sure hoping it would count for some kind of math. What are the 2 easiest math courses I need to take from ALEKS to get complete the math I need for this BSBA in HR at TESU?
