I find this story about this school's possible loss of accreditation to be an interesting read.  I'm trying to imagine the real story behind the story.

Lots of panic about a possible loss of accreditation but not much about the reasons why it's on the table. What's the backstory here?

yeah, admittedly i got lazy and stopped reading, but the reason for possible accreditation loss appeared absent. and the reasoning they're giving for not losing accreditation seems to be a "too big to fail" argument, which of course is nonsense.

but again, i didn't finish the article.

Honestly, I thought this was a troll post earlier and didn’t respond because of that. This made a fair bit of news when it happened: the three who voted to remove the president are prominent, anti-mask/anti-vaxx Republicans and they removed the president for instituting a mask mandate. They replaced him with the school’s wrestling coach, who has never been an academic administrator, BUT who is also a well-known, anti-mask and anti-vaxx Republican. https://www.thedailybeast.com/idaho-comm...ch-instead

lol, what a great plan. wrestling coach with no relevant background running the show? no wonder they're on the brink of losing their accreditation.

The  inmates definitely appear to have been running the asylum for YEARS. 2012 Quote from Board Chair, Mr. Todd Banducci, to Trustee, Ms. Christie Wood: "I ought to take you outside right now and kick your ass." *

Somehow, I don't see a good outcome, in this kind of environment.
