It's my intention to not engage in political discussions on this forum.
However. I feel the need to state - I am not a fan of Mr. Anthony's smash hit.
It's just too defeatist.
I think we need to believe our best days are ahead of us.
This song needs some John Paul Jones - "I have not yet begun to fight!" and some
Bluto - "Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?"
I say to Mr. Anthony and fans of Rich Men North of Richmond - "Lively up yourself and don't be no drag."
I'm not against calling out problems but I think we should acknowledge that there is a way forward.
