Is this study guide from a current course? Wow, guess they don't update course content. They are making a nice profit, especially since it's completely online now. I guess "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" is the motto of the day.

Did they send the 9th or the newer 10th Ed of the text? When I took the course, 2010, I received the 9th Ed along with a neat financial calculator.

I am so very excited! I have finished the final exam for the Penn Foster Financial Management! Happy dance :willynilly:

You know, I sometimes wonder about myself. Here I've been knocking out courses and credit by exam, but just tonight while working on my final exam, did I realize that the calculator book for the Sharp Financial calculator (that was provided with the course) had an index! Which made it so much easier to find functions like IRR and NPV.

No doubt the rest of the forum knows to use the index!

But hey, as my grandpa would say "better late than never."

For anyone taking this course I can't stress enough about taking time to go through the calculator book provided with the Sharp calculator so you know how to use it. And don't forget the book has an index. :banghead:

Does anyone know if this course [Penn Foster's Financial 101] would also satisfy the "Financial Management" requirement at Excelsior? Thanks for any feedback.

Will this satisfy Charter Oak's?

I have confirmed that Penn Foster's Financial Management course will satisfy Charter Oak's Finance course requirement for the Bachelor's in Business Administration. However, it will NOT count for upper level credit, just lower level.
