Thanks for the encouragement, everyone. The humanities test was quite tough and I really wasn't sure I passed until the score came up on the screen. I love art, have traveled extensively and love to read (and as a hobby read a few classics each year) so those things certainly helped. However, there are a lot of questions about particular artists, choreaographers, directors, etc. that I could have never answered had I not studied the flash cards until I almost had them down cold, AND read Shakespeare (to keep all the characters straight) AND used the Peterson's guide. I also would look up specific pieces of art mentioned in the flashcards on Wikipedia or Google images while I was studying so that I would remember the images and not just the names of the artists.

Back to my day job...next round of tests next summer!
