Patten MBA Review

Meh, when there are similarly priced alternatives (WGU) that people actually enjoy (as much as you can enjoy the process), why put someone through that?

I've become interested in Patten again. However, I feel like it would be hard to get a good GPA there. I don't mind that exams don't align well. If Patten were pass/fail, I think I would go for it. But if most courses are unfair and impossible to get an A in, then I would have a lower GPA that stays with me forever. Most employers don't care though, so I wonder if I should try it. Even if the grading makes it impossible to get over a 3.3, I don't think that most doctoral programs would care as long as someone was 3.0 and up.

Oh... you withdrew. I'm going to look for more recent info on Patten, info that is less than 9 months old.

That's fair about the grading. I kind of agree with you. I wouldn't be totally opposed to getting a Patten MBA in IT Management (after first completing a WGU MS Cybersecurity & Information Assurance degree) if it was pass/fail.
