Does anyone know without a shadow of a doubt, if Penn Foster makes you use a certain type of proctor?
Has anyone taken any Eng Classes with them? and if so, were they hard or difficult?
I may may need to retake Eng 101 and they do appear to be cheap and more flexible on completing the course on your time and not theirs.
I never took the Eng Clep w/Essay , just w/o.
Anyone have any good advice on a cheap alter, or quick online school let me know.
Oh, any word on LSU and their degree of difficulty on eng 1001?
I know BYU also offers a class online at your pace, and I do like their program and I don't even ride a bike with a name tag on my white collared shirt

The ENG class has no final exam (proctor).

Hi -
I would not recommend LSU Independent Study to anyone. I took four courses with them, two of which I dropped because the instructors were difficult, impossible to contact and required 6 credits worth of work for 3 credits.
As an alternative, I would check out Clovis Community College on-line at
Your College Search Solution: Clovis Community College, Clovis, New Mexico. I took 4 classes there and they were fantastic. No only were they inexpensive - even for out of state - but they were relatively easy. I took both freshman English classes. The instructors are available all the time and very helpful.

First - Mr. Fey is my Dad, I'm Shoto....
Second, having taken classes from both PFC and LSU I would say that PFC has greater flexibility over LSU.
Third - GOOD LUCK!
