It is kind of funny how similar we all seem to be in personality types.

Even though we have different views on certain things, I can see how I'm like the other INTPs here. Instead of giving emotional support, we degree plan. LOL. I can't give you a pep talk, but I can come up with the fastest and cheapest way to complete your degree.

What is emotional support???  Big Grin  You don't need emotional support, you need a PLAN!!!

ISTJ-A Logistician...80+ introvert, sounds dead on.
We are all on the same side here, trying to better our lives....so let's get along and help each other out.

Learn a trade. Gain technical skills. Make money, then use this money to get a degree...if you have the desire.

Interesting, I wonder what I had the previous time I did this a couple decades ago.

You all have such a great memory!

Oh, I was guessing there would be a bunch of "T":

"tend to be success-driven, perfectionistic and eager to improve. They are also more willing to change jobs if they feel stuck in their current one and to spend time thinking about the direction in which their life is going"

"Turbulent individuals perform better in certain roles as they push themselves to achieve superior results, while Assertive ones do not care about the outcome that much. Always feeling the need to do more, to have more, and to be more ... it is entirely possible that this desire to always push themselves just a little further helps many Turbulent types to achieve what they seek to achieve"

But there were downsides to the "T".

I haven't tested to see if I would get "T" myself.

Someone should design an app that lets people job-search based on their personality type. It's not enough just to say someone is a "chef" because the type of chef and the location of your cheffing vary - certainly good information if you can know ahead of time that you'd be a good/poor fit.
I'm an ENFJ (the "protagonist") with the advantage of having a few years under my belt, so I'm usually able to tell what kinds of roles I would enjoy / hate as well as those that I'm good at / not. Also, being an ENFJ, I won't stay with jobs or projects that are a waste of my time. Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to select that as a filter during a job search!?!

Assertives don't work harder than they have to. That sounds like a lot of us.
