Principles of Management to Principles of Supervision
#1
Hi! I'm sure this has already been asked, but if I am preparing for the POM (using mostly IC flashcards) and need to take POS just a couple of days after, is there any specific information or study materials that you would suggest? I know there is a lot of overlap, but what are the differences or missing information that I would need to study?

I suggest checking out the specific exam feedback thread. I recently took both tests (POM first and POS 1.5 weeks later). I found that POS was much broader in content. There were subjects that I had never encountered in any of my studies (economy, interest rates, etc.) that seemed irrelevant. I also had to guess on a few questions because more than 1 answer seemed correct. I used both IC and free-clep-prep.com heavily. HTH

I took POS at the end of my degree plan after having studied business ethics, macro, micro, biz law, mgmt, marketing and a few others. It was a piece of cake. Oh and so was intro to business. Each of these builds on the previous so if you overlap your studies you will rock the test. I'd recommend studying for some of the core and more difficult tests first and then you can blow through ones like intro to supervision at light speed. Read the REA books.

I passed POM with 66, studied the Petersons POS Guide and PTs, and passed POS with 453 Smile POS was easier than POM, IMO—more general.
