I have a question about the professional development electives (300 & 400 level courses) for the pro aero degree. I'm trying to test out of whatever I can, and I'm wondering which of the upper level dantes will actually apply to this degree. So far, I've taken management information systems, and it's already showing on my transcript. I've recently taken Money & Banking and I'm hoping it will fall under this category, but I'm not sure.
Is there anyone out there that is going after this degree program with Embry Riddle that has tested out of the professional development electives and wouldn't mind listing which applied? Thanks in advance for any info.

Don't you have access to some academic advising at ERAU?

I do, but when I asked I was told that only Excelsior tests count, which I know isn't the correct answer (one of my Dantes already counted). So I'm hoping someone else will have the correct info.

Here's what I found. Read under "Advanced Standing Credit" and "Course Equivalency Challenge Exams". The second link if for the manual that tells what the exams will satisfy.
Transferring Credit, Worldwide , Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University

Hope this helps a little.

thanks 101, you beat me to it.
i personally like erau, and they have accepted my past DSST tests.
not sure I will continue pursuing the prof aeronautics degree, as i just dont see my self doing anymore with aerospace other than my role in Civil Air Patrol of which I am the IT officer anyway.
