Any help is greatly appreciated Smile

3. For several weeks Allen had to cleam the mens restroom at the place he worked. The task always made him nauseous. He has since changed joba, but still cannot walk by the door to a mens restroom without becoming slighlty quesy. For allen, the door to the mens room has become a(n)

- unconditioned stimulus
- conditioned stimulus
- reflecive stimulus
- uncondtioned response

What is your text's definition?- A spider spins it's first web
- Andy rides his bike withou training wheels for the first time
- The newborn calf stands up and begins to walk
- Now that heis 6 feet 5 inches, Michael can dunk a basketball

2. Ten year old Brittany found herself to be the most popular girl in her class, shortly after moving to a new schoo. The positive association that was benefiting her was the result of?
The key here is to ask your self what is the cause, what is the effect, and then revisit the meanings of conditioning types.
- clinical conditioning
- observational learning
- operant conditioning
- classical conditioning

3. For several weeks Allen had to cleam the mens restroom at the place he worked. The task always made him nauseous. He has since changed joba, but still cannot walk by the door to a mens restroom without becoming slighlty quesy. For allen, the door to the mens room has become a(n)
Same advice as question number 2. You can use wikipedia or even youtube to help grasp these ideas of stimulus/cause-effect/response because you'll encounter them often in psych
- unconditioned stimulus
- conditioned stimulus
- reflecive stimulus
- uncondtioned response

4. Allison s a model, so cameras and flash bulbs are a big part of her life. Her pupils respond to the click of the camera by contracting slightly, even when a flashbulb is not being used. This contraction of her pupils in the absence of the flash is an example of
ditto
- unconditioend response
- discriminatory response
- conditioned response
- reflexive response

5. Billy often throws tantrums in stores if his mom does not give in to his requests for candy. She usually ignores his tantrum, but every so often she gices in when it is inconveient to argue. He is being reinforced on which schedule?
this answer is cut and dry- use your book's glossary
- fixed ratio
- variable ratio
- variable interval
- fixed interval

Any ideas? Out of 100, these are the five giving me a rough time!

Good luck, hope you found my hints helpful. Wink P.S. generally people here test out of that class, are you considering that?

It is not how many post they have it is what the first few are about. When they ask questions that are easy to answer with a little work I wait to reply to see if the next post is better. Lately we seem to be getting alot of 1 post wonders as I call them.
