Psychology at TESU
#1
hello everyone, i am having trouble finding what i am looking for using Search. Can someone please assist?

I am almost done with my associates in business (asba) from thomas edison. then i will move on to a psychology BA.

what i am trying to find out is what options i have, for the required classes in the area of study. on the TESU web site it says:

  • "Courses transferred to Thomas Edison State University are equated to the following levels: 100, 200, 300 or 400. A minimum of 18 credits equating to 300 or 400 are required.

Does this mean my 300-400 levels do not have to be chosen from the Area of Study courses? Or do they? If they do, is there a running list anywhere of Psych courses from alternative providers which come in as upper level?

I am feeling really confused trying to figure this out... i saw a couple of threads where people link their degree plans but they seem to be outdated and do not list all the courses available, just the one that particular person has chosen. please let me know, thank you!!!

the UL courses would need to come from your AoS. 3 credits will come from the capstone, 3 from history and systems of psych, and another 3 will likely come from 3 of the 6 credits needed for Social Psychology. My plan linked above gives a lot of known UL options, and some suspected UL options (marked “UL?”). Always check with an advisor, but I try to keep my list up to date. I just recently revised it when I learned of some study.com updates.
