I'm considering using them to get some UL credits for my degree at TESU.

According to my advisor, students can opt to pay it at the time of enrollment or pay a tuition deposit of $895.00, the remaining balance needs to be paid prior to your start.

I'm trying to figure out if the credit will be applied in a way that doesn't cause me to pay the deposit.
I'm confused. What are they asking you to pay for?
Usually at the time of enrollment, you pay a deposit and then pay the remaining balance before the start of term for the courses you register for during that term.

Please disregard my post above, my individual situation may prompt extra tuition and fees.

I found this Purdue assessment course cheap for $100,- each but my question is, if you can use the credited for residency  credits requirements
https://www.purdueglobal.edu/alternative...sessments/

and then only you need to pay the for the Capstone course the normal tuition fee.

Can someone confirm this.

I read all the requisite for this Purdue offer and one of them said you can not transfer the 2 free courses to another institution.
I'm doing the free semester from South Texas College and you can transfer your earned credits with no problem to another college.
Purdue is a very expensive University.

Credit is nontransferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, stipend, or any refund, and cannot be used in any term/session other than the first term/session of enrollment. If tuition and fees in the first term/session of enrollment are less than the maximum allowable credit, the credit will be adjusted accordingly to cover only the amount of the first term/session tuition and fees. Any unused amount will be forfeited. Any tuition and fees due after the Award has been applied will be the student’s responsibility.

I think I see what you are seeing, gams, and it seems like just funny wording. Here it is from the T&C:

Quote:• If the recipient meets all eligibility criteria to qualify, the Award will be applied at the beginning of the first term/session as a credit on the student’s ledger.

It is a scary phrase to us here on this forum, "credit is nontransferable," but in this context "credit" means the financial credit that you get on your bill to cover the tuition. So carry on folks.

In other news, has anyone successfully applied/enrolled yet?

Well you guys need to call them and ask them to be clear with this  statement before wasting time on this offer. Also can you enroll in the ExcelTrack program with this offer??
