Hello All,
I am closing in on finishing my first bachelors degree and looking into maybe doing a second one. Right now it looks like the Marketing or Human Resource Management would be the most appropriate fields for me. Are either of these fully "test-out able". Meaning there is no actual classes needed to be taken at a school. I can utilize study.com, SL, DSST, CLEP for the 24credits if able. Just looking for some input on this from the great people of Degree Forum.
Note: This would be at TESU

The business core and all AOS courses for both of those concentrations are able to be tested out of.
But, if you're already getting your BSBA in Accounting, then you can't get a second BSBA after you graduate. What you need to do instead is contact TESU and tell them you want to get a second concentration for your BSBA. At that point, you just need to get the 6 AOS courses for that concentration in addition to the Accounting concentration.

If I'm reading that right, I would be able to apply 9 credits from one AOS to a second one? It says no more than 9 credits can be applied to each.

Okay thanks, Master's seems to be the right path instead of another bachelor's degree. I don't want a Bachelors in Liberal Arts so my idea won't work. Thanks Again.

Yes, as long as it's a second bachelor's rather than a second area of study in the same bachelor's degree. Since you're getting a BSBA in Accounting, if you decided to get a BA in History or something like that, then that would apply.

This what I read as well. Have you had this confirmed? I was told no by my advisor and that all 18 AOS have to be new but she also doesn't think they accept ACE credits from Saylor so I'm not exactly taking her word for it

Are you looking at 2nd bachelors degree or second area of study? For a second bachelors 24 new credits are needed in the AOS for BA and 24 new credits needed in Core/AOS for business but I have not seen anything specific about the distribution of credits in the core/AOS. For a bachelors degree with 2 areas of study, up to 9 credits can be applied to both AOS.
