Jolly,

U.S.History I: Early Colonization to 1877
120 questions emphasize American history from 1790-1877, including politics, social developments, economics, culture, and diplomacy.

U.S.History II: 1865 to the Present
This 120-question test measures your knowledge of American history, with the majority covering important events of the 20th century.

Some on this board have said II is more difficult. I need to take both and from my studies on IC, they look equally attainable.

Others have also mentioned the Peterson CLEP practice tests http://www.petersons.com/testprep/clep.a...e.pft.clep:

Peterson's Practice Tests for the CLEP
Get to know your test before you take it. Work through three full-length, online practice tests, identify your strengths and weaknesses, and focus your study time where you need it.

I believe that it also depends on what you need. If you need both like me, you just go for them in order. Hope this helps.Smile

I took both around a year ago. I found them on par with one another but had more fun with US History 2 as I just know more about that half than the first, Either way, I'm sure you will do GREAT!!!!!
