I am going to be doing a business degree through Excelsior. I see that the Clep principles of accounting is gone, and since I would need those credits for the degree, should I just take the straighterline course in accounting? And if I do take the Straighterline course, which one would I need to fulfill the requirements? I know I need both Financial and Managerial Accounting, and both Clep and DSST only offer Financial.
Also, I believe all other business credits can be completed through exams, with the exception of Business Strategy? If there are any other issues, please let me know! I am sure that all other tests still exist, just checking to make sure that Excelsior still accepts them to meet the business requirements. Thank you all so much!

You should check with SL to see how your partner school transcripts the classes. FHSU credits Acct I as Financial and II as Managerial. This is the standard sequence, but check to make sure.
For your Biz Degree, remember you'll need 12 UL business credits excluding the core requirements, i.e. Finance DSST will not count toward the 12 though it will fulfill the Finance Core requirement.

Thank you,
I was going to go through FHSU anyway, so that will work out great. Thanks for the info.

I found a cool, free online accounting textbook at
Principles of Accounting
If you are taking the accounting courses via straighterline, this might save you some $$$.
