I see Sophia just added U.S Government. Does anyone know if  this course will fulfill the 5E Civic Understanding GEC requirement?

It's a brand new course. It was released this week so no one has taken it and transferred it to UMPI. Most likely it will transfer. No one can say for sure yet. It will be several weeks before we know for sure.

Not a sir. UMPI won't have an answer because it hasn't been transferred yet.

My guess is that it will. That said, the class at UMPI is VERY easy. It took me about 2-3 days total and that included writing the final assessment paper and I got an A. If you need a class to help fill out the 10 class requirement at UMPI, American Government is a good one to take.

I've taken the course on Sophia, and plan to start on the Summer2 cohort. If you don't have an answer by then, I can let you know.

According to UMPI's DB, U.S. Govt. fulfills 1C & 5E.

Also, TESU has confirmed it works for civil engagement.
