I've mastered sociology, in two weeks I'll have mastered Micro Economics.
Is there a good way of doing US History 1?
I've read the REA,
but getting a deeper level of the of what happened,
who did what and where is really getting frustrating.
This will be my first round of cleps,
I haven't been able to score more than 75% on the first IC test for US History 1
(while I get 80% to 90% right for the other two subjects, with no previous knowledge of them)
even after taking it 7 times over the past few days.
I really enjoy Sociology and Micro Economics,
do you think I could do well learning Macro Economics and I should just put off US history since I'm 16 without a "Need to get it done right now" ?
I've put 12 hours reading the REA book and the IC tests,
but I'm feeling like I need a better method to remember and associate things.
Any idea on how to remember things better for US history 1 and 2?
The ridiculously long names,
foreign names of people, the similarity of them,
the number of them and such makes my head spin.
I really utilize logic learned from CLEP prep to it's fullest extent but for US history you have to memorize,
your not learning a new formula/model/concept.

You sound like you are doing fine. If you use REA, IC, and the Wikipedia supplement for US History I, then you'll be able to cream it.
If you have problems remembering names, either write them down or find clever ways to restate them. Fordney McCumber Act = Ford Knee Cucumber Act. (That is my mom's invention. She excels at that sort of thing.)

I watched the VOD (Video On Demand) videos on the following website which helped me pass both exams.

I feel your pain...I failed this one twice by one point  It is the maps that got me. They would show a map and ask what treaty or act made the map be what it was  I am going to hit this again soon
