SOS-110 and Capstone at the same time?
#1
Hello all,
I was wondering would it be advisable to take the SOS-110 and a Liberal Arts Associate Capstone at TESU at the same time? I have never taken either class and was wondering how difficult would it be? Would the course load be too much? I also work full time. Is it best I just take one at a time?

Thank you  Smile

I am taking both of them right now.  I am deployed overseas and I am still able to manage the course load.

I started this journey in the summer of 2016.  I hoped to be done sooner, but I am still proud of the rate at which I have gotten my schooling done with respect to the many months of military training and deployments I have undergone.

If you're taking other courses to get the residency credits OR if you need another course to get Federal Aid/Loans, you may want to switch it up a bit to see which courses or course load you would be able to handle. I would recommend working on all your general eds/free electives and whatever other courses you would like to transfer in. You should get Financial aid to complete the residency credits...

It's doable but make sure all transfer credit is completed BEFORE you start those two courses, otherwise it will become too much (speaking from personal experience).

I'm taking both right now and it's doable. I have a full time job and a family but put time aside for schoolwork and make it happen.
