Can I take the exam more than once? Yes, you can take the exam as many times as you wish. There is a two week waiting period between attempts and each attempt will incur the $25 USD proctoring fee if using ProctorU.

yeah it's a bit confusing, because when I log in and look at the final it says I'm allow three attempts.
This is what I see before I start "Further Notes: You will have two (2) hours to complete this exam; You will be able to attempt this exam a maximum of three (3) times; Exam questions will be split across multiple pages; You may jump directly to a specific question by clicking its number in the left-hand navigation panel; Your answers will be saved each time you navigate to another page within the exam; You may "flag" a question as a reminder to yourself to return to it later, which will change its appearance in the navigation panel; Once you have opened the exam, there will be a 14 day waiting period before you may attempt the exam again; You will receive your grade on this exam immediately upon submitting your answers; You must score 70% or higher to pass and be eligible for an official transcript. Attempts allowed: 3 To attempt this quiz you need to know the quiz password Time limit: 2 hours Grading method: Highest grade" TESU: BSBA-CIS ---------------------------------------------------- Completed Jan 2018

Email from Saylor.
" Sean Connor (Saylor Academy) Sep 7, 10:39 EDT Thanks for getting in touch. Some of the exams do have a maximum of three attempts for the Direct Credit exam. I'll update our FAQ to clearly say so. To answer your question, yes -- once the three attempts were used up, a student would be locked out of further attempts (and a transcript wouldn't be issued for, say, a successful fourth attempt). The regular (non-credit) final exam is a good resource for practice. We have some tips for studying after an exam attempt, here: https://sayloracademy.zendesk.com/hc/en-...inal-Exams Best, Sean Sean Connor Director, Community Relations Saylor Academy Visit our help center: https://support.saylor.org " TESU: BSBA-CIS ---------------------------------------------------- Completed Jan 2018 |
