New Charter credits to degree?
#1
I am looking to do a masters at New Charter as it is very inexpensive and transfer credits to a school like the Big 3 or another regionally accredited college. Does anyone know a college that would do this?

New Charter doesn't look like it is regionally accredited so the key is finding a school that doesn't care about that and from what I've found schools that transfer credits in love the regional accreditation. If you are doing a masters degree I would recommend a regionally accredited school since that is the easiest way to explain to an employer that your school is legitimate. I have to say price isn't everything, make sure you are comfortable with the school.

I'd say be careful to check transferability before you begin, I know based on my experience so far at TESC they wouldn't likely take any credits from there, maybe other schools will.
My completed "non-traditional" credits include 27 credits from CLEP, 30 credits from DSST, 6 credits from ALEKS, 19 credits from FEMA courses including PDS, 3 credits from NFA courses, 10 credits from ACE Workplace Training, 3 credits from a TESC TECEP exam, and 3 credits from a TESC PLA course.

I am aware that it is DETC accredited and I know there are several schools like Northcentral that are DETC and regionally accredited that accept DETC credits. I was looking for schools like that.

AMU/APU is likely your best bet...but I'm not even certain about them.
MBA, Western Governors University February 2014
BS Charter Oak State College November 2011
AS in EMS August 2010

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Northcentral University is not DETC accredited and it only accepts regionally accredited transfers. University of Phoenix, WGU, APUS, and Liberty University accept DETC credits.
