I'm trying to set a timeline for myself so that I can adjust my goal completion date. So far, I've only taken some CLEPS and DSSTS and a few of the free courses. I will be taking my last DSST next Thursday and plan to start taking SL courses to fulfill most of the remaining requirements. Having never taken any SL courses, I'm curious to know how many courses do most of you guys complete per month? Is it completely unrealistic to shoot for 4 courses per month?

Everyone's available time is different as is how they study, but if you are just "checking the box" on courses you already know a lot about it is very reasonable. Some courses are longer than others (like micro/macro economics) and ones with a lab may take a little longer than ones like world religions.

That said I could have done WR in a day if I simply wanted to search the book and just do the quizzes, but I enjoyed the material and actually read the book (so 2-3 days for that)

That's realistic, I would recommend 5 courses to maximize the monthly membership. Search online for the coupon/promo codes.
I haven't tried "renewing" with those promo codes, but if you were able to successfully do it, it'll be even cheaper credits!
Find the 5-6 easiest courses and work those as quickly as possible. For the ones with labs or lots of work, you may want to do them together.
The lengthy ones are Micro/Macro Economics, take your time and pass them. I would group the Accounting courses together as well.

What do you recommend as the easiest courses? I was thinking to start off with Intro to Communications, American Government, Intro to Religions, and Principals of Management one right after the other. Is this a good plan or are there easier courses that I should consider?

Has your plan deviated from the original that was in your thread? There are a few SL courses listed previously.

Have you committed to doing the CLEP or are you changing them to SL, such as the Principles of Management?
The four that you have should be fine, it seems workable. I generally would go with the same type of courses.

If you are changing them, then that should be fine, you can "group" them so it's easier to study.
Such as I mentioned, have the two accounting and two economics done in one month.
If you have more arts/science courses, I would group them together as well.

I found the Western Civilization I en II to be fairly easy. I have completed between 4-5 courses in a month.

Don't mean to hijack, but, do you typically have to buy the recommended books to pass the courses, or is there other good information out there?

There are Etextbooks for the business courses which is a great deal! Currently, $69 for the business courses.
The Ebook itself costs more than the course if bought separately, if you buy online elsewhere it's cheaper.
For the other courses, you can search your local library, online bookstore, Amazon or eBay for same or older revisions.
Each edition of the book will have very minor updates, it's best to find an Ebook to search faster.
