I just signed up for this course and still waiting on a ceratin website A****n to send my book. My question is for people who have already done this class can you start on the quizzes and be successful with just your computer in front of you and no books? Thanks

Nooo!! you definitely need the book and practice practice practice, make sure you do the sample multiple choice questions on the website companion of the textbook and try to find similar problems online so you can master the material.
There are formulas you need. There is very little to no theory on the exams problems problems problems and you need to know the material if you want to pass the class with a decent score.

I agree 100% with Walter and I want to add that SL statistics was one of the classes that took me the longest time to complete, I think it was 3 or 4 months and it was one of my lowest SL grades, I think I got an 83. Buy the book and I would check if the publisher has a study guide or extra problems because they would be very useful to master the material.
