Thanks for the info. That is a bummer, it seems everyone scores a C, I sure wish I knew what people were missing.
Was there anything that you had not seen while studying, or was not in the famous "notes"?

I've seen a few score in the mid 80's range. In all honesty, compared to the actual course, we are lucky to get an equivalent of a C grade for the amount of work accepted on the TECEP. Probably has much to do with them doing away with the exam. Although would have been nice if they could just revise it (ie back to business policy?) and reclassify(BUS-3XX?) so it could still be used as an UL business exam. Oh well, it was great option while available.

60% is passing. The TECEPS, like CLEPS, aren't on a 100% scale. So, a~70 isn't a C.

Thanks for the info. That always throws me off reading CLEP scores. Looking forward to getting this one over with. I am putting it off for as many Davar exams as I can squeeze in next month, though.

Actually the passing 60 is equivalent to a C.* Quiet as it's kept they do have a number-letter grade equivalent that they do not use on transcripts. IIRC, certain individuals (ex teachers) need the grade for their (recertification) credentials. I was told in certain cases something is generated for those individuals. Not sure if this is still the case, but it was when I graduated in 2010-2011.

Just found out that I did pass the Strategic Management TECEP. I do not think that the test was really that hard. I read Chapters 1-11 of the text book. I should of read chapter 12 since my last essay question was about chapter 12. I did review the Instantcert flash cards, And I studied the chapter reviews in the text book. I made flash cards of the list that I found in the chapter reviews and the Instantcert flashcards. I believe that I could of found just about every answer to my test questions in the chapter reviews. I spent about 1 and a half hours doing the test. Good luck to every one else doing the test.

Yes, but the recent scores being posted are higher than 60, so a C isn't necessarily the equivalent for the "bummer" comment.

What a weird grade scale.
So all of these 70 something scores are more of a B than a C. Nice.

So if 60 is equivalent to a C (70 in a 10% grading scale), you could divide your score by 85.7 to get a ballpark percent figure of how ya actually did. Maybe? Unless they also "scale" the score like CLEP.
