Studying the lists!!! Have those down and the essay questions will be easy. That's a possible 45 points right there if you ace those. So you can see the lists are very important. Get the 17th or 18th version of the book do not get the 20th.

Hey all! I'll be taking this exam next Friday. I've read through the entire book, gone through instantcert twice, used bricabrac's notes (which are tremendously helpful), and some flashcards on cram.com. I feel confident going in, but just wondered if anyone else on here had any recommendations of additional materials? Also, does anyone know if partial credit is awarded on the short answer questions and the essays? I'm assuming that they do, but wasn't 100% sure. Thanks!

Hello everyone (again!) I had a real quick question about the essays... Is it required that the essays be in essay format? Or can they be numbered?

I did not answer them in essay format. I answered them in short answer format/ list format. Now hopefully someone will chime in that did much better then me because that way could have cost me points but I still passed and that is what counts.

Some have kept it simple, listing exactly what was required (bullet/number list). Some used list stile format but as full sentences, giving more detail. Others did a paragraph format. Overall, the consensus has shown it really depends on your strength in writing and knowledge of question asked. If you can only remember bullet points, then just list those answers in a simplistic one line format. Don't elaborate in a BS answer, you don't gain points by talking about something you really do not understand. But you will earn points by answering correctly although it may be limited. There are enough short answer and essay questions for you to balance your strengths and weaknesses on the exam. Hope this helps. Good luck! "Setting a goal is not the main thing. And don't forget, you can get 30 points just from the multiple-choice questions.

I don't think it matters which style you use, but some of the questions did ask to provide examples. I couldn't think of any, and probably lost points because of this.
But what really matters is knowing the answers. They are pretty specific, and they want every detail.
