Study.Com Courses
#1
Hello,

Has anyone taken a Study.Com course lately?
I danced with them a couple of months ago, but didn't get around to doing a final exam.

Anyone here actually take a final exam for ACE credit?

Were the questions on the final exam taken from the same questions you had on the module quizzes and chapter exams?
Or were there different questions on the final exam?

Thank you for your replies Smile

I have never taken a final exam with study.com but have used their videos. There was a post back in July that did a review on study.com courses for credit.

I plan on using them for testing out for Chemistry.

Anyone know what study.com course covers the material for the Chem CLEP test?
DSST - Technical Writing - 441
CLEP - College Composition - 69

Can only test out of 2 more classes for my degree:
CLEP - Analyzing and Interpreting Literature - TBD

You can go to their website and choose "Test Prep" then pick the type of exam you'll be taking, and it will narrow it down for you. Chem 101 is probably what you'll need.

I have 2 children doing study dot com starting right after Christmas break- all credit bearing courses. I don't think we'll be nearly fast enough to give feedback before January-February. The courses first up for them are Physical Science, Marketing, and Management.

Hi cookderosa,

I enjoy reading your posts so I was wondering if you had any feedback since it's been a while for these courses and the website overall?

I have taken a bunch of courses through Study.com and have always had a wonderful experience. The final credit bearing exams have very similar questions to the ones you find on the chapter exams + lesson quizzes. No surprises await you. Pretty straightforward. Just make sure you understand the material in the courses and you will be fine on the proctored final exams

I've sung the praises of Study.com before, but I'll repeat myself. There was only two courses I needed from them, but I would have happily taken all of my credits through them if I could. It fit my style of learning very well, and I was more than prepared for the exam through the videos and quizzes. I definitely recommend it.
