Mine was very fast, 2-3 days.

I've heard that it takes a few days to get your grade because they review video of you taking the test to ensure that you didn't cheat. Once they confirm that you didn't cheat on it, then your grade is released. I don't remember where I heard that from, may not have been specifically about Study.com, but it makes sense. Bummer to have to wait though.

Yeah, that's exactly what they do, but there's no reason they shouldn't give you a preliminary grade while you wait, and it can be finalized after the review.

I'm using Study.com for Macro Ec for college credit. Almost finished and will be ready for the final in a couple of days (unless my crazy family schedule goes wacko and delays me, yet again). Two questions:
1--When you're ready for the final, can you take it immediately, or do you have to schedule it in advance? 2--(Unrelated) Has anyone used Study.com to prepare for the FTCE? Any feedback on that? My oldest daughter will be taking her FTCE in December; just wondering if Study.com would be helpful. My youngest daughter (16) has switched from CLEPs to using Study.com for college credit. It's working well for her so far. Wish I'd found Study.com sooner. Thanks in advance.

You can take it immediately. There's no live proctor, you download software that records your session and sends it to them. It's reviewed by a person within a few days.

(I can't remember - but let me add, I've found a new level of usefulness here- it serves as my "memory" as the real one fails me more and more these days!)

Be sure to check with the academic advisor on whether it will transfer in as LL/UL. I thought that Social Psych would be UL, but they informed me that it's a LL. Just fyi.

What did it transfer in as if not PSY-370 Social Psychology? Looks like Study.com needs to update it's chart (assuming you're talking about TESU/COSC)

Although it's LL on ACE, TESU should count it as UL to match the UExcel exam (PSY-370). Plus, that's what they say it will be on the transfer equivalencies page: Thomas Edison State University COSC also shows an UL equivalency: Charter Oak State College I'd be very interested to know if they're doing something different than this; also TESU just reviewed a bunch of these when some new courses were added, they should have fixed any that were problems like this one. I would take this up with the Advisor you talked to.

This is something that really, really annoys me about these COSC lists. They are often confusing and deceiving. Many times it will show an equivalency to an UL COSC course, but then they will not actually give you upper level credit if ACE doesn't recommend it. For example, that list shows the HR course as HRM 310 and the OB course as MGT 315, but COSC will not give upper level credit for these because of the lower level credit recommendation by ACE.
I don't know what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future.
