Study.Com - Do you have to pass test?
#1
I am still trying to figure out the Study.Com program.

If I am taking a UL course, and it is worth 300 total points, and I get 99 on the quizzes, 90 on the written assignments.....it would seem that I would only need around 20 some points on the final.  Do they require you to get a 70% passing grade in order to get credit?

I have always gotten pretty high marks on my finals, but this one last class has me concerned.  Io keep getting 65 to 69 on the practice final.

The 70% passing mark is for your total grade. So if you get 210 points between the quizzes, final, and assignments you're good to go.

So, yes you do have to take the final, but your progress is telling you that you only need a 20 on the final to pass the course with a 70%.
