Study.com ACE credit recommendations? $200 for 6 credits
#51
I would like to personally thank tinhead for this advertisement. I say this respectively because I was ready to give up on testing out (clep & dsst) after taking two clep exams and failing by one point on American Literature and 7 points on the Analyzing & Interpreting Literature. I signed up for study.com and was able to utilize the college accelerator program. I started in mid December and took Psychology 101. When I passed that one I gained confidence and momentum. I passed five study.com exams on the college accelerator program while simultaneously passing five dsst exams thanks to the study guides on this site. The study guides helped me the most with the dsst exams. I am so thankful to God for leading me to this site, but if I hadn't seen tinman advertisement I wouldn't be saving money and time. I am eternally grateful to be a part of such a great community of people who are assisting each other in passing exams and just being encouraging.

Congrats, ronaldem74. Glad you found something that suits your learning style and brought success. Here's to continued success!

I agree with you, study.com has a great system going on. I finished my second exam with them last night, but unfortunately that's it for me and study.com, there's no other courses I need from them there. But if they offered anything I still needed, I'd love to stay on board

Glad to help. So many people have helped me along the way and if it wasn't for this forum, I fear I would be nowhere close to where I want to be -- so I am glad to pay it forward. Also, it is great that even as a Canadian I am able to get a US degree because of services like this forum and Study.com. I don't even have to leave my country to get college credits Smile

I found them to be my favorite option yet in terms on convenience, cost and also assisting with my other CLEP / DSST / Uxcel exams.

Is anyone still registered with Study.com? I had a friend try to send me multiple referrals so I could get the 20% discount and he the $10 credit, but as much as he tried and tried, I never received.

I'd like to help someone out and get $40 off my first month. Smile

Please PM me and I'll reply with an email address to send the referral. Thanks!

I had the same issue when I was still registered and sent the invite to someone. I forgot what the eventual solution was, either they found it in their spam box or we sent it to a different email address of theirs... Either way it eventually worked.

If I was still signed up I'd send one your way, but I already have the credits I need from them Smile

Hrm, this is an odd thread-revival.

Regional accreditation is the gold standard, of course... but for-profit schools generally are not included in that gold standard, even if regionally accredited. No one really looks favorably on University of Phoenix or Kaplan, in general. I'd stick to the Big 3 or other non-profits.
