Study.com Bio 101 + Lab!
#1
Hi everyone on the forum, hope you're all doing well! I plan on taking Study.com Bio 101 + Lab in the next few week to meet the BIO requirement for UMPI and as this is a requirement for all UMPIs students I thought it might be useful to have this all in one place. So my query, or more so request, is whether anyone has completed this course already and has some tips or guidance on how to best master this class as efficiently and effectively as possible? Any advice would be greatly appreciated and I thank you all for taking the time to consider my request!
Thank you again!

That's a tough course, I took the placement test just for fun and it only gave me like 8 lessons completed afterward!  A lot of info to learn.

That being said, with the grading system, all you have to do is pass the lab and the exam won't matter much.  Get 100% on the quizzes.
Degrees: BA Computer Science, BS Business Administration with a concentration in CIS, AS Natural Science & Math, TESU. 4.0 GPA 2022.
Course Experience:  CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning.
Certifications: W3Schools PHP, Google IT Support, Google Digital Marketing, Google Project Management

Yup, For the course or for the lap - It's not really bad at all, some people have finished this within a week, including the labs. But that's because they have the time, I wouldn't rush it... Spend your time learning the lessons and completing the quizzes, the final exam is only worth 33% I believe, don't sweat it.

Thanks! I'm hoping to finish it within four days or so, to complete before the end of the UMPI session, this will be my first course with SDC, I've only done Sophia, TEEX, and UMPI otherwise.

You can do the quizzes an unlimited number of times. But, in order for your 100% score to count, it must be 100% within the first 3 quiz attempts. If you get 60, 80, 60, 100, then your recorded score would be 80 because that's the highest within the first three attempts.

I would start it now and plan for longer than 4 days. The current term ends July 2nd so starting it now gives you a few weeks to get it completed and the transcript sent to UMPI. Keep in mind that UMPI will be closed for the 4th of July so that may cause a delay in receiving the transcript.

I will hopefully start it after I complete my last two final assignments or if Jessica states that it would definitely not be able to transfer in late, I'll focus on biology and then pick up my final assignment with UMPI after that before the draft deadline  i only have 3 more courses until I'm done I'm pretty sure so I'm pretty pumped!
