All that money they paid for evaluations, and Study.com didn't know that they don't issue transcripts? I've also never heard of another organization with NCCRS approvals having to go through Excelsior or any other credit bank. They might recommend collecting credits on a credit bank, but they have their own transcripts to issue. When you want to put credits on a credit bank transcript, the organization sends Excelsior their own transcript.
The NCCRS website shows that at least one course (first one I checked) was approved in December 2016. Since most of their courses are approved by ACE as well, I guess we haven't needed to use NCCRS.
So really, it's the courses that are only approved by NCCRS that seem to be a problem - like the new History and Systems of Psychology, which is NCCRS only, and was NCCRS-approved as of August.
So maybe Study.com didn't know how NCCRS worked? Not really sure here.
