Getting results back from assignments takes far less time than getting the confirmation of the proctoring for final exams. Assignment results usually post within 24 hours in my experience. Sometimes in less than 2 hours.

Hmm good point I guess I assumed that the assignments would take longer because they have more human involvement whereas the testing process could be more automated.

Ok so how long does it typically take to process the final exam and have the course results?

It used to take a few days, but now it seems to take at least a week, more often closer to two weeks. There were several occasions when I'd finish a final exam, start on the next course and complete its final exam, and be part way through a third course before the results of the first exam posted.

My finals have been taking around 7-10 days to post.

Thanks for everyone's input. I ended up signing up for and completing BUS104 Information Systems and Computer Applications. This should allow me to sooner apply at TESU as a SDC affiliate. 
I will keep the evaluation time frames in mind for my other SDC courses. I just got to keep in mind that no matter how fast I want to go there are inherent time hurdles I must clear.
