Study.com membership plans
#1
I'm pretty new to study.com, currently on a premium membership, and I need to find the right strategy to optimize my expenses.

So let's suppose that my premium membership begins on a certain date and I upgrade to College Accelerator a few days later.
Do I have to pay just for the delta (i.e. $140), or I have to pay premium + CA for that month?
Does the new plan start immediately, so that I can take an exam right away?

Any words of wisdom are very much appreciated.

If you upgrade to college accelerator during a month when your premium membership is active, you only pay the difference in membership costs. Also, yes, you can start taking exams immediately.

You are able to upgrade at any time and they will prorate you on the billing for the remainder of your billing period -- but if you choose to downgrade from that plan later you must complete the rest of the billing period before the plan is switched. Hope that makes sense. Best of luck
