Summa Cum Laude Project Management Goal
#1
Are Project Management Application courses difficult to get Summa Cum Laude grades? Are there any other PM courses to look out for? From reading, all I know about the PM application courses is that you'll be assisting in a local project.
Current: UMPI YourPace competency-based BABA, Management & Leadership Concentration, Project Management and Management of Information Systems Minors. Starting with 15 RA credits previously earned in community college. Took the CSM Learn course. Now going through Sophia courses.
Goal: Walden TEMPO competency-based MBA.
Timeline: Started planning mid 2021. Finish both, Jan 2023. A year and a half total, including planning. Started planning on TESU, but was advised towards UMPI to take advantage of financial aid. I'm now excited to finish completely competency-based.
Fun fact: I sometimes use TV as a productivity toolOne episode per chapter, load of dishes, or basket of laundry!
Thanks to everyone, and happy studying!  Smile

Depends on how much effort you put into the coursework. I graduated - twice - summa cum laude from UMPI. I received A's and A+'s in all of my project management courses. I did more than the minimum to earn those grades though. An A is always my goal.

That sounds like how I'd prefer to do everything as well. I'm motivated to give it a shot, so thank you.

Are the PM applications local to Presque Isle, or the students location?

Not sure what you mean. Every course has an instruction sheet that gives you everything you need to complete the Final Assessment.

I may be confused from this post, but I was wondering about the Applications courses and how community projects were sourced if that's the content. Basically, if you have to find a project or if one is provided.

BUS400 & BUS401 are project based courses. You'll work with the professor directly to draft your project plan. You can use any project you want. Doesn't have to be something you're currently working on. There's some misinformation in that thread. Also don't go by the course description. Those descriptions are for the on campus programs and not YourPace.
