I understand that to generate a GPA for a degree earned at TESC you must complete either an online class or a guided study class. Would the 1 credit PLA course meet this criteria? Would this course be considered an elective?
Trying to figure out the cheapest way to gain GPA. Thanks,

Why do you need a GPA? I can only see it being useful for graduate school acceptance and they will calculate their own GPA based on all of your classes, not just one class at TESC.

(I believe the only 1cr course the college offers.) I took the SOS course, it was a fun as it was designed to reintroduce students to college writing, basic math and comprehensive skills. I am signed up for TESC PLA 100 starting June 2nd. The syllabus says that there are two recommended textbooks, but also that they are not required. Can somebody who has taken this course give me feedback, do I need to buy the textbooks?
