I'm seeking some advice.
I obtained Microsoft MCTS: Windows Server 2008 R2, Virtualization certification. ACE recommends two upper level credits in computer science, computer information systems or information technology. TESC awarded the credits as CAP-347 Local Area Networks. TESC said the course does not map into my Area of Study as it is more applications based. I was hoping TESC would award this as a CIS or COS prefix (per ACE) so I could use as a computer science elective.
I also received CIS 311 Database Management for my MCDBA cert and CIS 312 Database Management for my MCTIP SQL 2008 cert. I thought different course numbers would be ok but TESC says they are duplicates.
Is there any way for me to challenge these? Now I will be 2 upper level credits short for graduation in September.
Thanks
