I haven't found a thread on this issue so I thought I would post.
DW is planning on taking a UExcel exam for her BSBA at TESC. The ACE site indicates the exam approval expired on 11/30/2014. Does anyone know if this is a problem with TESC or do they accept all UExcel exams regardless? Inquiring minds need to know. Thanks!
Edited to add: Maybe we are misinterpreting the meaning of "Dates Offered" at the Ace site. Does anyone know if those are the approval dates?

That will for sure be a problem. You might be looking at the wrong section- sometimes the newer ones get a new name/title/number. I'd scan the list more carefully and see if you can find an updated version.
I never understood the point of ACE approval when the Excelsior is regionally accredited. Maybe someone smarter than me knows the answer. A whole whack of courses ended on that date.
I've never tested out; however, don't when you take Uexcels you get an Excelsior college transcript that you can order through the college and send to your school, thus eliminating ACE?

Excelsior doesn't consider Uexcels to be resident credits. They are marked with an "X" on the transcript. In comparison, TECEPs count toward residency at TESC and are coded just like TESC courses on the transcript. Related to this, COSC won't accept CSU Global's CBEs because they are treated as non-resident credits, but they will accept TECEPs.
