"TESC changed some policies on 7/1/15 which makes a ton of the roadmaps others have laid out slightly outdated. "
the purpose of the forum is to contribute to the pile, so when you make a new roadmap, throw it in there.
"I'd be very happy to earn a degree within 6-12 months with a lot of work and transfer into any of the following:
NYU, Columbia, Villanova, Rutgers, Baruch"
Just for clarity, you wouldn't be transferring, you'd be applying. To transfer would mean you'd START at TESC (or wherever) and then send your credits over. That wouldn't work because you'd be subject to the new school's acceptance policy- so the liberal credit acceptance you'd get at TESC would be lost when you transfer. If you mean that you'd be applying for grad school, you'll want to be sure the prereqs are woven into your bachelor's degree. In some cases the requirements will say "graded credit" like in Algebra, stats, micro or macro economics.... in those cases, you can't CLEP the credit- you'll need the class so you get a grade.
For what it's worth, you can complete an entire TESC degree for the cost of 2 classes at NYU. Just sayin.

So I received my transcripts from Community College dating back 12 years. The good news is I have 27 credits, the bad news is I'm holding a 2.4 GPA. I was carrying a 3.15 GPA, but carried 4 F's across my final semester. The issue with this it I withdrew, but they state F's. Even though this was 12 years ago, I remember arguing to have my money refunded, which they said they couldn't, my only option was to withdraw, which I did. Now I'm trying to have those F's removed, which looks doubtful. So good news is 27 credit head start, bad news is the 2.4 GPA.
English Comp - Writing Process = A
Computer Literacy = B
American Civilization 2 = A
Intro to Psych 2 = C
Macro Economics = B
American Civilization 1 = B
English Comp: Writing & Research = C
American Civil War = A
Intercultural Communication = B
Micro Economics, Exercise Sci & Sports Condition, Intro to Business, Elementary Algebra all = F
My first step is to try and battle these F's, I think my second step will be piling up 32 credits from TEEX, which I believe will all transfer to either COSC or TESC. If I can't get these 4 F's wiped off, I'm debating just retaking these classes, picking up the 12 credits, and bringing the GPA back up. If I take another 3 or 4 UL classes, these should give me flexibility on where to apply for an MBA (I believe? Please correct if this is wrong).

Things to note:
TESC changed some policies on 7/1/15 which makes a ton of the roadmaps others have laid out slightly outdated.
A lot of the information about those who have gone on to MBAs doesn't exactly highlight how many credits were testing out versus classes attended.
I'd be very happy to earn a degree within 6-12 months with a lot of work and transfer into any of the following:
NYU, Columbia, Villanova, Rutgers, Baruch
I checked Villanova's admission policy and this is all I got back:
To be eligible for this program, you must provide the
following materials:
•
Completed online application
- Resume
- Two essays
•
Official transcripts from all institutions attended
•
Two letters of recommendation
(professional or academic)
•
GMAT or GRE score
•
TOEFL, transcript evaluation and interview
(international applicants)
I will note one huge positive I have is letters of recommendations - I can provide two from well known CEO's of publicly traded companies, that should hold some weight in the reference sections.
Villanova doesn't post a required GPA. They say it's the most important criteria in their admissions process, but they don't define it. Some schools dont want to strictly define their admissions guidelines and instead claim to look at the whole "package". You can, however, get an idea how you fit in by looking at the stats for their 'average' student. For Villanova's MBA the average student is:
What is the profile of the class most recently admitted?
Average age: 27 years
Average GPA: 3.0 - 3.75
Average GMAT: 560 - 710
Average years work experience: 6 years
Currently studying for: Still deciding.
Done!

COSC and TESC also offer credit forgiveness from my understanding, so since these classes are worth zero credits, I can avoid transferring them in so technically they won't impact my GPA, but nonetheless, when applying for an MBA any school will see this semester. Ugggghhhhh!

Again, you don't transfer in grades; just credits. Grades only affect your GPA at the school you took them at, they don't carry forward to other schools.
