Hi,
I am wrapping up the PF Strategic Business Management course and I understand from other posts that TESC will only accept the course from an ACE transcript. A woman at PF said all I do is join ACE to get the transcript. In looking on the ACE website it looks like you have to be an institution to become a member (and pay dues). I must not be looking in the right area if the site.
So I'm confused.
Has anyone done this and recall how they went about signing up with ACE?

Then, you will need to request to have the Penn Foster course added to your transcript. Maybe someone else can tell you if PF works with ACE electronically or if you'll need to request a transcript from PF to be sent to ACE.

Initially, I paid $10 to PF to have my transcript sent to ACE and waited for about 2 weeks before contacting ACE when my PF credits were not showing on my ACE account. ACE told me over the phone that they do not accept paper transcripts from PF. I was asked to use my ACE account to request PF to add my credits since PF partners with ACE electronically. I did this and it took them less than 24 hours to have my credits, all of them, added on my ACE transcript. So, I'll advise that the OP requests the PF credit via ACE account.

Yes, Penn Foster approves their courses electronically, exactly the same process as Aleks courses. There is no fee to set up your account, you are only charged when you order a transcript. BTW, ACE has two options for their transcript service: mail or electronic. TESC accepts electronic transcripts.
Process - Once you log in, click on course search. Enter organization name and course title, a list of courses will populate. Click on the course title link and then the icon add to transcript. Penn Foster will receive a request to verify course completion. Once approved, ACE then adds the course to your official transcript. You can check processing by clicking on the My Courses link. You will receive a confirmation email once processing is completed. Log in to your account and order a transcript.

Thank you so much for the very helpful responses. Do I have to wait until I finish the PF class to create an account with ACE? I tried to create an account last night w them but it didn't recognize my student ID nor my social. Sorry for all the questions, this part is new to me.

Yes, you can set up the account now for use in the future. Again, it's free so why not. Try again tomorrow during business hours. The site may be down for the weekend. Use your SSN instead of student ID. You can use ACE as a catch all for many sources (Aleks, PF, SL) so you should not identify yourself by one organization.

That's great, once you are ready to send your ACE transcript for the first time there is a $40 registration fee. After that the transcript costs $15 to send further transcripts.
Don't forget that gaining college credit by taking exams is one of the reason's we're here. That's mainly possible through the flashcards made available by the owner of this forum : InstantCert Plus of course your hard work in learning and reviewing

Just got my grade this morning so the course is now complete. I was able to login to ACE and followed the instructions from bricabrac (which were perfect BTW). So now the course is in the pending area. This is so exciting!!! This is my LAST course!!! YAY!!!! I can't believe it...I want to run around my office screaming "I DID IT", is that weird? HA!!
