TESC Organizational theory / Organizational development and change requirement
#1
So I'm stuck trying to find a CBE for this class requirement at TESC. This is the description:

PSY-360 Organizational Theory

This course explores organizational structures, processes and outcomes and also examines the history of organizational theory through the words and ideas of major theorists.

Advisory: This is an upper-level course. Students should have knowledge equivalent to an introductory psychology course.

Anyone know of a CBE that might fulfill this. Trying to avoid taking this at TESC...

Does it have to be PSY 360? The closest I could find from the CLEPs/DSSTs TESC accepts is Organizational Behavior, but that's PSY 361. Please see attached as to where got it from.

There is no CBE for the course. You cannot use Organizational Behavior because it's already a separate requirement for that degree.

I couldn't find a CBE either, but I did some additional research and found it at the following colleges:
- MGT 241 Organizational Behavior Theory (Clovis Community College for $297)
- SOC 432 Organizational Theory (Colorado State University Pueblo Independent Study for $447)
- ORG B 320 Organizational Effectiveness (BYU Independent Study for $504)
- my local Junior College for about $167

Hope that helps. Still not a CBE, but cheaper than TESC!

Not sure how I missed it, but CSU-Global has Organizational Development for $250. They give you all of the study materials with the "course".

Am I missing something; CSU-Global lists cost @ $1,050. I am in need of a course and was just depressed to find Clovis only offers the option once a year.
