TESC non-enrollment option?
#1
TESC tuition is listed as $157.00 (NJ residents), $212.00 (out-of-state residents), and $398.00 (NON-ENROLLED STUDENTS). What is this non-enrolled tuition thing? Is it of any use?

Not sure why I'd want to, but . . . Can you take a TESC class without enrolling, and then enroll and graduate later on? Thanks.

darbycreek,
You can take classes at TESC without being enrolled, but as you can see, the cost per class is considerably higher. A 3 credit course is 1194.00 for unenrolled, 636.00 enrolled/out of state.
If you are trying to save money, then unenrolled is definitely not the direction you want to go.
It has a lot to do with your degree plan. The history degree is mostly test-out-able, however, many degrees have limited test-out-ability. Also, sometimes tests like the ECE from Excelsior are much cheaper and quicker than a course. They range from $99 to $275.
It all depends on your degree and your financial situation. Keep studying the catalog and the numerous degree plans that are posted on this forum, you will eventually begin to get a gist of the whole process.
Good luck.
