TESU BSBA Capstone Professors
#11
How's it going with the capstone? It looks like Dr. Lawrence Ness will be doing the March Capstone. Based on my research he seems like he is a good professor I will be enrolling in March.

So far, Info Literacy with Dr. Wagner is going well. He's a good professor who grades fair and quick.

So far, so good. I've been pleased with Professor Kenny. He said he update grades within 5 days of the assignment due date.

I think the Guided Study has been better for me personally, because I would rather put my assignment in APA format instead of posting it to a forum and having to respond to classmates' posts (there are 11 discussion forums in the Online version, so that could mean 33 responses to write.) Probably works well for a lot of people, but I don't usually just jot down quick 2-liners, so that would have been a lot of extra time/writing for me.

The 11 written assignments are about 1-2 "questions" each, and the 7 case study assignments are about 5 "questions" each (I say "questions" because sometimes each question is more like a group of related questions.) Each case study assignment is based on a specific company case study from the textbook.

For my first case study assignment, I read the case study in the textbook as well as the other recommended chapters, but I stopped doing this. I try to get the info I need online and reference the textbook when I need to - it's too easy for me to get bogged down in the textbook and not actually get the info I need to complete the assignment.

It's easy for me to procrastinate these assignments because they usually look worse than they are   Smile. Once I start writing they usually aren't too bad. My grammar and APA are good, and I've gotten 95s-100s on my first 4 assignments.

I passed my last exam for my BSBA yesterday Smile . I'm hoping to register for the BSBA capstone for the January term, so I'm trying to decide what professor to choose.

It looks like I have the option of doing the Guided Study with Professor Timothy P. Kenny or the Online with
Dr. Sandra Mohabir-Mckinley.

I think I'd prefer to do the Online, but it doesn't look like there is a lot of info. on
Dr. Sandra Mohabir-Mckinley - I wasn't able to find her on Rate My Professors. It looks Timothy P. Kenny has 4.6/5 rating on Rate My Professor.

If anyone has any experience with either of these 2 professors, I'd appreciate you sharing your thoughts on them.

Thanks for the help!

I have her now and is anyone else feel she is a hard grader?

I can confirm she is a tough grader.  Sad

Sorry for this question but I do not see anymore on TESU website the bachelor degree of BSBA CIS concentration?
Did you guy know if the dropped this option?

Another question if I want to get another bachelor degree from TESU do i need to bring 24 new credits?
I would like to do the BS CIS i have all ready a BACS, but I see most courses requirements are the same as my acquired degree.

which plan can I do to get this done.

In progress:
TESU - ASNSM ASBA, UNIR- Master Cyber Security
Completed:
TESU - BA Computer Science

You can get the Associates in your signature in addition to the BS CIS, they just formatted it differently, it's the same degree with a different name. I don't recall any of the classes changed for any of the requirements for the degree. And 24 new credits means, 24 after your BACS conferral date.
