Here's the degree plan I have for the BSBA in CIS. You should always get all of your AOS courses pre-approved before you take them. TESU changes their equivalencies and rules fairly regularly.

Do you think TESU will waive athe gen ed requirements from an associate's degree? It will be done at COSC but i may want to finish the BS through TESU.

No, they won't.  If I were you, I would use courses at COSC that you know will satisfy TESU requirements as well.

Hmm. This will put me in a jam. I only have 4 classes left and will be done by end of yr. Don't want to take more than i need as my job is paying for everything and know i'll be complete soon.

Only reason I considered TECU afterward was because of the lower amount of UL credits needed. I just want a checkbox BS degree honestly and I'm considering BSBA in CIS via TESU or Info Systems via COSC based on my CC credits. Also I'm a CT resident and would prefer to go through COSC since i started there and it should be cheaper but not sure how cheap/fast it would be to test out of these liberal arts courses. Not sure what at Saylor would be considered Liberal Arts UL if anything.

Sorry for hijacking the thread. I suppose I'll make an official one w/ all my credits for input after i get my AS.

If you aren't concerned about having a general studies major, then COSC's info systems concentration is pretty flexible. The degree, as a whole, will be more flexible than any business administration degree. After arguing with them, COSC now accepts CSU Global CBEs. Plus, you'll pay in-state tuition for the capstone. I think the Strategic Management TECEP is gone requiring you to take the course at TESU, and you'll have to pay a lot to waive the residency requirement.

Yeah, the more I look at it the more I think I have to stick with COSC. I should be able to sort out a BS plan with my advisor before I graduate w/ the AS. I started checking out CSU Global but that's good to hear. Just need to get those 30 LA credits somehow.

Don't you just need 15 UL credits outside of the concentration and 15 UL credits within the concentration? There are plenty of tests and ACE courses that are counted as upper level liberal arts. Did you look at the master list of exams?

Yeah, if it's going to cost you less, and there's a degree that will fit your needs, you should definitely stick with COSC. In-state is always a better deal for most people, and if you already have an AA/AS there, it just makes it that much easier.
