Yes, we do love our Canadian neighbors!
Since they allowed NHL players to compete in the Olympics, it’s amazing it took so long for the U.S. to win one, considering there are 25 U.S. teams compared to 7 Canadian teams. Canada has already won three Olympic gold medals since 1998.

We come up short in curling, but those sweepers had me ready to grab a broom and join the team. They were getting me completely hyped up for curling!

Liberty has one of the best CLUB hockey programs. It's ACHA, not NCAA and is not part of the university's athletic department. ACHA is typically viewed as equivalent to or a little below NCAA D3 for hockey. There are 72 NCAA D1 hockey teams, each with~30 players. At any given time there 2,000 or so higher level collegiate hockey players than those at Liberty in the US, give or take.
