		Hi all!
I'm at the final steps of transferring everything into TESU but I'm a little nervous. My previous college credits are from 2006 - 2008. Is anyone aware of a time limit on the courses they allow you to transfer in?
I'm hoping to enroll in the Capstone for February for a June graduation but if these courses aren't successfully transferred in I won't be able to.
My major is Accounting at TESU but most of the courses from my old college are Gen Ed and Psychology (my previous major).

They will usually count old credits just fine. Some tech/computer/business courses they limit if they're too old.

I transferred in some stuff last year from 1996 and TESU took it all just fine.
if it's something like computers, maybe you'd have a problem but mine was polysci, psychology, sociology, etc and it all came in fine

Currency only really matters for AOS courses... the rest don't matter as long as they're from an RA school. I transferred in courses from 1986 without issue, including one computer applications course.

2008? Heavens, that's nothing. 1980? Ehhh, maybe an issue in some (not all) courses. You'll be fine.

Most schools do not have a time limit. TESU doesn't at all. I've seen transcripts from the 60's that came in just fine.
The only thing that may is specific courses for specific degrees, which will want them to be more current. If you took a bunch of science/lab courses in 1995, and want to become a nurse now, you're going to find that most schools will want more current credits for those specific courses. Same with computer courses for your IT degree - they don't care about the GE courses where you bring in computer stuff, but they're going to want currency in the major.

Thank you so much everyone! I'm mostly a lurker but this forum has been invaluable to my educational journey. I'll be sure to share my story once I cross the finish line!
