Hello Good People,
I have a few questions about each of these courses, directed towards those you who have completed them.
1. Are the hard copies of the text needed or can I wing it with the ebook versions?
2. Are they similar to Straighterline, ie. a series of exams with a midterm and a final exam?
3. Are they difficult? Is there a "science" to completing each with a good grade (B or better)?
4. How long should it take me to complete each one, considering I have 8 - 10 hours a day to spare?
Thank you guys and gals in advance.

I did both classes; I couldn't have done them without the books. I believe the cost of the course includes the book; I don't think you can opt out of the book (but I could be wrong!). I took art a while ago, it was quick but I don't remember how fast. I just finished music over a weekend! This is a great way to earn humanities credits!

Thanx for the speedy reply.
Is the ebook on the PFC site different from the hard copy? What is the name of the book? (Name, author, publisher) I'm asking because I'm a bit anxious to start the program. I'd have to wait a month, maybe, for all the materials to reach me(international). I'd rather purchase or rent the e-version online. Again, thanks for your help.

I'm sorry, I won't be home until the end of the week so I don't have access to the books right now.

I just completed Art Appreciation through Penn Foster ......easy course, made a 95. I am currently doing Music Appreciation and plan on 3 more courses through PF.
All were approved by Excelsior College and then it's on to my nursing courses. By the way..... I took Information Literacy through PF as well.

It's really possible to do the music course in a weekend? Do you need a proctor? Any more info?

Also, someday maybe a MS in Forensic Psychology, just for fun. Oh, and a BS in Animal Behavior. And, maybe when I'm 85 a PhD in something fun.

How long did it take for the art appreciation course? Is there a proctored exam?
