Can anyone give me an idea of about how many questions there were on the MLA format, or how much I should be studying up on that, or other documentation requirements?

Know the MLA format, you can answer those questions most easily on the test if you are not puzzling them out. Those questions are 15-20% of the test. The rest of the questions will consume more time per question as you are asked to read passages, consider multiple edit possibilities and choose the best option. The low hanging fruit on this test is the MLA format questions so it will serve you to know it cold, particularly internet sources.

I took the clep composition modular and found it hard even though I am usually very good in that subject. The questions were tricky where the choices all looked close to the answers. I found that the time given for both the questions and essays were not enough.
The timer starts even as thequestions are loading. The timer on theessay portions runs even as you read the instructions. I went in confident and left hoping I had done enough.Luckily I passes with a 51 :-) I was not happy scoring so low but the important thing is passing. Best of luck.
