Two CLEP Tests on Same Day - Am Gvt/US Hist I

I also advise taking them both on the same day. Those 2 tests have a LOT of overlap. Quite likely there'll be something in the one test that'll help you on the other; that happened to me. I'd also agree on doing US History 1 first, then American Gov. Best wishes!

WOO HOO!!!! PASSED!!! Took both tests the same day first one at 1030AM (US History I), went to lunch, took the second exam at 130PM (American Government). Wasn't a problem at all.

For US History I
1. Read and took notes on: Cliffs Quick Review - US History I
2. Read and took notes on: REA - CLEP History of the United States I
3. Did all IC flashcards
4. Read through the Specific Exam Feedback forum on this site for US History I
5. Total time spent prepping for this test: approx 40 hours total
Grade - 68

American Government
1. Read: Cliffs Notes - American Government
2. Did IC Flashcards focusing on political parties
3. Looked up: mnemonics online to help me remember the amendments to the constitution
4. Used: You Tube to try get additional understanding of any concept I didn't understand
5. Read through: Specific Exam Feedback forum on this site for American Government
6. Total Time spent prepping for this test: approx 40 hours total
Grade - 64
